Hi Everyone, I realise I have not been at all faithful or loyal to you all in telling you what I have been doing. It has both been a lot and not a lot. I will tell you about it when I next see you (which is actually kinda soon(??!!!))
I saw Josie Long. (omfg) She sang us christmas carols.
I saw Matilda the Musical - fucking excellent - srsly look that stuff up
Have apart from that been getting angry at work clothing - an over purchasing casual clothing to make myself feel better.
It has been super nice hearing from you all. I love you all muchly - and as far as a travel blog goes this fails a lot.
hey ho
I knew at some stage this blog would slow as my life became less travel-dynamic.
I have been work experiencing (in hilarious clothes) this week, and will be doing some other ones next week and the week after.
It is strange/cool/interesting/weird. Spend a lot of time sitting around/ standing around/ following my barrister trying not to feel awkward. We are in the middle of a major trial. It is kinda icky - I have had to read some unpleasant evidence I can tell you - and had to be in the company of the CREEPYEST MAN EVER - (thank god I am with the prosecution) and the greatest detectives ever.
Sorry this might not make much sense - it had been strange - have been at chambers til like 7-8 each night doing menial tasks.
xx Freya
Hello
Me and mum arrived at a hotel too late and then had to drive all night back to London. It was epic. On the way back my mum realized she had lost all her credit cards and driver license.
It was pretty funny.
The Lake District
I am in the Lake District, which is where Lizzie wants to go in Pride and Prejudice with her aunt and uncle but never makes it. I kinda get the big deal because it is incredibly, stunningly beautiful.

I mean and this photo doesn’t even do it justice. We are staying in a wee town (wee lolz) called Grasmere where Wordsworth lived. All the places around are adorable little pubs and independent shops (say wha). It is full of the old and middle aged.
I am up to the heel on my sock adventure (part two).
We go to Haworth today so am prepping for major depressive moment (have chocolate in car)
We get back to London tomorrow and mums leaves on thursday and then I don’t have any idea what I am up to. (oh god anxiety)
Thanks for all keeping in touch etc (love mother, but she is crazy - occasionally forgets how to use indictors AND IS DEFINITELY GOING DEAF OMG)
xo Freya
SOME PHOTOs/images stolen from online
Here are photos. I apologize for their shoddiness.

Me and mumsy went to the highlands today. (AKA WHERE LOCH NESS IS ZOMG) Did not see messy, but enjoyed soup and sandwich at generic coffee shop.

This is an awesome painting by Angelica Kauffman which was in the Manchester Art Gallery. SHE WAS THE FIRST WOMAN ALLOWED IN THE ROYAL ACADEMY BOO YA

Cool hanging structure by Gormby in MAG called Filter. There is a heart inside. (Creepy)

THIS IS THE READing ROOM IN THE JOHN RYLANDS LIBRARY

ORIGINAL ULYSSES IN AFOREMENTIONED LIBRARY ONE OF MANY AWESOME BOOKS

Me at Stonehenge. It was prettttty cool.

I walked up a weird mound in Edinburgh in Holyrood park called Arthur’s Pass (supposedly shaped like a lion). There was this awkward shear cliff with a scottish name (checked: Salisbury Craggs(=goood word)). This was just above me the whole time.

This was kind news for me.

It does not look that high but it was actually super high and scary.
Hullo everyone. I am in Scotland (Edinburgh specifically (more specifically I am in the foyer (utilizing the free wifi) of the ‘Edinburgh Central’ Novotel. I have just eaten a frighteningly large breakfast. (3 courses baby and a jug of coffee (a whole jug the couple next to me shared one (who do they think they are)))))
I was in Manchester for two days which was pretty awesome. Everything is a direct result of the industrial revolution which means everything was once part of the cotton industry. All the buildings are huge and red and have been converted into trendy/awesome flats/shops/offices.
I went to the John Rylands library (OMG EVE I RECKON YOU WOULD LOVES THIS PLACE) which is this incredibly gothic library full of awesome old books (like really old (like from 1500 etc (they have a gutenberg but it is not on display (i was fully so gutted :())))
They have this reading room with high gothic ceiling arches and fucking OLD books and it is lined with statues of shakespeare and homer and other classic writers, and it is free for students to just study there. As in hang with the statues and just yon do some readings (WTF)
HAVE TO INTERRUPT THIS WITH EXCITING NEWS: TWO BOYS WALKED THROUGH FOYER JUST BEFORE WITH CHELSEA ACCENTS I NEARLY PISSED MYSELF OMG BUT THEY WERE AWKWARD YOUNG AND NOT ATTRACTIVE/PEOPLE FROM MADE IN CHELSEA.
Oh god this is too long already I don’t want to make you guys read my lame writing so i will aim to be more image orientated in the future. I have done other awesome things. oooh LIST FORMAT
- WENT TO STONE HENGE. IT WAS GREAT. THEY ARE BIGGER THAN YOU THINK. I HAVE LAME TOURIST PHOTOS.

- WENT TO WHITWORTH ART GLLAERY WHIHC AGAIN WAS GREAT - there was an exhibit on these japanese people and their vegetables and planes (not quite sure what happened there)

- Museum of Science and Industry was great - learned fun facts such as that Emmeline Pankhurst was from manchester, and that the first computer was built there and it was called Baby (good name)
- The first night we stayed there was the night of a massive charity gig in Manchester for children in need, so BY MY CALCULATION THESE PEOPLE WERE IN MANCHESTER AT THE SAME TIME I WAS. I DID NOT SEE THEM BUT I FEEL INTIMATELY CONNECTED WITH THEM
